GfGD Summer 2021 Placements

We are looking for three to four motivated individuals to help us advance key areas of our work, over the next couple of months. Short-term volunteer opportunities are available on projects including:

• Understanding and learning from the impacts of our University Group activities over the last decade. This position has now been filled

• Advancing work on our Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Action Plan.

• Developing an online course for natural hazard scientists who want to contribute to disaster risk reduction. This position has now been filled

While particularly suited to students and recent graduates, these short-term project opportunities are open to applicants at any stage of their career, around the world, with the time and skills required.

All positions come with a £200 bursary, provided after completion of all relevant inductions, training, and paperwork.
