GfGD Welcomes Viki O’Connor

In July 2021, the GfGD team welcomed Viki O’Connor as business development and fundraising lead.

It was great to welcome Viki O’Connor to the GfGD team in July. Viki has been appointed to the role of business development and fundraising lead.

Viki has an MESci in geology from the University of Liverpool, and broad management experience. She is currently Geoscience Director for PDS Group and Managing Director for their UK entity.

“I think this is a transformational period for GfGD, as we define our strategy and then deliver over the next few years. I believe that geoscience has a critical role to play in tackling some of the greatest challenges humanity faces in the coming decades and I’m excited to play my part in GfGD’s work.”

Viki will share her experiences and skills to strengthen our approach to fundraising, grant applications, and developing corporate partnerships.
