GfGD Provides Support for 1st Congress on Integrated Disaster Management in Guatemala

As part of our international work in Guatemala, we provided 11 scholarships to facilitate attendance in this congress. Scholarships supported 11 Guatemalan and Mexican participants, including students and representatives of government organisations, NGOs, and teachers.

Last week, Geology for Global Development led an international delegation of early-career Earth scientists to the United Nations, to engage in their Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals.

GfGD Partners with AGU on Inaugural Geoscience and Society Summit

Working with the American Geophysical Union (AGU), Geology in the Public Interest, Geological Society of London and others, we helped to deliver and facilitate this Summit in Stockholm, exploring how geoscientists can help tackle global and local sustainability challenges.
